Awards Recognize Innovation in the Application of Information Technology -- StreamServe and Agis Recognized for Their Superior Customer Retention and Satisfaction Efforts
Burlington, MA, USA – December 17, 2007 – StreamServe® Inc. (www.streamserve.com), a global leader in dynamic document composition, management and delivery solutions, and Agis Insurance, one of the five largest specialized healthcare insurers in the Netherlands with 1.2 million customers today announced the two companies have won the 2007 Process Innovation Award for the creative deployment of StreamServe’s patented software solutions. The Process Innovation Awards program grants innovation-solution honors to those companies that achieve a significant business benefit and continuously strive for the effective and demonstrable return from their technology investment. StreamServe and Agis were selected from a pool of more than 250 applicants.
Agis leverages StreamServe’s solutions to generate ten to twelve million enterprise documents a year from its mainframe environment, including letters, invoices, policies, and settlement specifications from the administrative systems. These documents conform to the organization’s corporate brand and style guidelines and can be processed in a variety of file formats and distributed via printer, fax or e-mail, depending on the customer’s preferences. With StreamServe, Agis was able to increase the efficiency of overall customer correspondence, cut printing and document processing costs, provide improved customer service support among its business-to-business and business-to-consumer client and significantly enhance its revenue.
“It is an honor to have been chosen for such a coveted award and to be recognized for the positive, corporate-wide effect our customer satisfaction and retention efforts have had on our business,” said Bertjan Teunissen, Process Analyst of Information Systems at Agis Insurance. “While the cost savings alone justify the investment, the greatest value StreamServe delivers is its ability to help us achieve a strong and consistent brand identity and provide better customer service which translates into enhanced customer satisfaction and sales growth.”
The StreamServe and Agis implementation was selected by an independent panel of industry experts based on process improvements that led to gains in at least one of the following areas: productivity, profitability, ability to adapt to market conditions, or competitive standing/market share. Enterprise Innovator, a premier publication focused on technology innovation in the enterprise (www.enterpriseinnovator.com), sponsored the 2007 Process Innovation Awards, which were created by Kinetic Information LLC and are now in their 11th year.
“Replacing paper-based processes with automated document output management solutions have a profound and demonstrable impact on an organizations bottom-line,” said Chris Stone, president & CEO of StreamServe, Inc. “We are extremely pleased for the recognition this award represents and for our ability to help leading customers such as Agis Insurance create more personalized, timely and effective communications.”
