What is a Webinar?
A Webinar is just like a seminar, but without the travel.
Attendees join the presenter/instructor using a web browser, without leaving the comfort of their own desktop.

The benefits of Webinars are eliminated travel costs as well as time away from the office.

What courses are available as Webinars?
Shorter seminars, presentations and demonstrations will benefit the most from Webinars. At the moment, StreamServe offers the following Webinars:


How can I register for a Webinar?
You register for a webinar the same way you would register for regular classroom training. Just select WEBINAR as Location for the course.

How are Webinars delivered?
Prior to the Webinar, registered attendees will receive login details and telephone conference details in an email.  When the webinar starts, attendees enter the Webinar service (Webex) using an internet connection, a web browser and a phone.

What are the requirements?
  • Windows XP or 2000.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, 6, Mozilla 1.6 or later, or Netscape 4.7, 7.x
  • JavaScript and cookies enabled in the browser
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (used for any shared PDF materials)
  • A screen resolution of at least 1024x768.
  • StreamServe Webinars use a standard telephone conference, so a telephone headset or a conference telephone is preferable.
Apart from a small Webex webinar client, no extra software has to be
installed on the attendee PCs.
