StreamServe Interessenten Seminar Summary
StreamServe held its first Central & Eastern Europe seminar on June 17th at the company’s office in Bad Homburg. This full day of presentations and discussions were highlighted by two customer presentations by Mr. Metzendorf of Coface, leading worldwide export-credit insurers, and by Mr. Becker of T-Systems Enterprise Services GmbH.
After the introduction the first presentation was focussed on how document processes can be improved with StreamServe. Mr. Metzendorf gave an overview of the different steps and projects of implementation, and how the document processes have been optimized and streamlined at Coface. After a live demo of Persuasion/Composition Center, Mr. Becker presented the T-Home project, which demonstrated the advantages and challenges of using StreamServe in a Telco environment.

Finally, StreamServe R&D presented an update on the roadmap. At the close of the event, the attendees took the opportunity to meet with the StreamServe team and to review the day’s discussions.
Transpromo 2009 – Interactive Portal & Free “Proof of Concept”
Since June, StreamServe has offered its customers as part of the Transpromo 2009 campaign the ability to test Transpromo within the new interactive portal. After an initial test, users are then invited to request a “Free Proof of Concept”. Together with the InfoPrint Solutions Company, StreamServe offers a real life document run, adding customized and personalized marketing messages to transactional documents based on selected sample data sets.
"Selected" data sets because this kind of high value customer communication is especially powerful when designed for specific groups. We therefore help identify the target group with the highest up-sell or cross-sell potential, and how the more expensive color printing can be cross-financed by selling whitespace or used for partner marketing.
Post Processing 2009 – Interactive Portal
In May, StreamServe began, as part of the Post Processing 2009 campaign, offering access to the new interactive iLearning portal, allowing customers to learn more about Post Processing and the abilities of StreamServe. This portal is also a good sample for the new iLearning offering to be introduced in the near future as part of the StreamServe trainings.
