BMW France relies on StreamServe to reduce printing costs by 60%

BMW France, the French subsidiary of the BMW Group based in Munich, Germany, distributes BMW cars and motorcycles. Since the Group's purchase of Rover, BMW France also sells Mini cars and Rolls Royce luxury cars and has a network of dealers for selling cars and motorbikes.

With more than 800 invoices in five copies being generated every day, the first phase of the collaboration between StreamServe and BMW France was to optimize the invoicing process.

The solution became operational in just a few weeks and allowed BMW France to quickly deploy their new invoice printing process. Customized invoices are now printed on just one sheet. Archiving is performed automatically, and duplicates for dealers are directly accessible via the BMW France intranet or extranet.

Rationalization, enhanced reliability and a 25% saving on printing costs are the main benefits brought by the solution.

Building on the foundation of this first successful step, BMW France set out to perfect its documents in terms of page layout, customization, color and legibility, with the aim of making them more attractive and more relevant for the recipient.
