E-invoicing

Electronic invoicing is currently generating a lot of interest in the market, in all Nordic countries. Legal regulation is pushing the adoption of e-invoicing and many organizations express an interest in starting to use e-invoicing. In a survey conducted by StreamServe last year, 77 % of the respondents answered that their organization was concidering to start to use e-invoicing in 2005. StreamServe is part of shaping the market, with the launch of StreamServe EU-Invoicing in November 2005. As a StreamServe client, you can read more about how you can get started with StreamServe EU-Invoicing.

StreamServe EU-Invoicing creates a single, unified process for producing invoices in whatever form and format each of your customers prefer, delivered through their channel of choice - paper or electronic. And, it automatically creates e-invoices that comply with applicable EU regulations* and that accommodate customer preferences. So you can deliver invoices in the preferred format and not worry about a legal technicality interrupting your revenue stream.

What does EU-Invoicing mean to me as StreamServe customer?

As an existing StreamServe customer you probably wonder what does EU-Invoicing mean for your organization when it comes to implementation. The development of the solution is based on a service oriented thinking meaning less intrusion in your existing StreamServe solution and faster setup.

As described in the above image, EU-Invoicing can be installed in the same environment as your existing StreamServe project. Your StreamServe project will then send raw data to the EU-Invoicing project which will reformat it to the appropriate electronic invoice standard that you want to use to reach your customers on their terms.

Where do I start if I want to start Sending?

To start a project which will enable your organization to distribute electronic invoices requires planning and a clear project scope. We suggest that you start by asking your self the question "How do I reach my customers today?". The answer to this will help you decide if your organization should use EU-Invoicing to connect to banks, to a hub gathering customers, or send electronic invoices directly to your customers? Maybe your situation requires a combination of all channels?
