Every business document you send out represents your company. StreamServe enables you to extend your brand identity across the last mile of communication to your customers. Regardless of delivery channel, documents can include logos, taglines, color, graphics, etc., that help communicate more clearly and reinforce your brand image.
In addition, StreamServe enables companies to personalize each communication based on the recipient profile and the data included in that specific document. Personalization goes beyond just the main document to also cover any available inserts, which can be selectively limited to only those relevant to that customer at that time. Such unexpected attention to detail improves the customer experience, has a positive impact on customer satisfaction, and is more likely to result in broadening the customer relationship through up- and cross-sell opportunities.
Despite the growing acceptance of electronic and mobile delivery, paper is not going away any time soon. Neither is the need to deliver those paper documents as economically as possible. Through better design, intelligent selection, and sophisticated consolidation techniques, StreamServe enables enterprises to deliver high-quality communications on fewer pieces of paper. In one instance, a StreamServe customer consolidated a seven-page document down to two pages, resulting in an annual savings of more than 2.5 million Euros for that one communication alone.
For enterprises with distributed locations, StreamServe can centralize content production independently of where and when the actual content is produced. Document content created in various locations and at various times can be collected and scheduled for print or output in other formats at specific times. StreamServe also optimizes postal costs by pre-bundling paper mailings and by consolidating documents going to the same address into a single envelope or package for the most cost-effective and efficient delivery.

Multiple Formats
- Print Output
StreamServe offers a wide range of print output formats. It can produce content for any printer, from desktop (PCL, PS) to high-volume printing (AFP), as well as label or matrix printers. It also has strong support for production printing environments, enabling companies to print locally or outsource the actual print jobs to third-party print shops or service bureaus.
StreamServe’s strong ability to create different types of documents from one data stream gives companies great flexibility and efficiency. For example, it simultaneously prints the shipping label with the appropriate barcode using the same information that was created for a warehouse packing slip.
- Graphic Output
Any page-oriented output can also be converted into popular graphic formats such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG and TIFF. The TIFF format is used for output sent to fax machines or systems.
- Online Output
StreamServe can produce business content as HTML output and publish it to a Web Server so users can access the content via the Internet and a Web browser.
- Other Formats
Adobe PDF files - Any business content can be transformed into an Adobe PDF file. StreamServe produces millions of PDF files yearly.
XML (eXtensible Markup Language) - Virtually any system, even those with just a printer interface, can be XML-enabled since StreamServe can convert almost any input into XML-formatted output for many different types of available standards.
Record based - StreamServe can produce record-based data streams made up of data records with one or more fields. Records can be fixed or variable length. The field can be character separated, or located in fixed positions. This output is usually used to loosely integrate with systems that support file imports.
Document Staging
StreamServe allows companies with distributed locations to centralize their content production independently of where and when the actual content is produced. Content that is produced at different geographical locations and at different times can be collected and scheduled to be printed or output in other formats at specific times selected by, for example, a Production Manager.
StreamServe receives the input from various applications, and stores it in a central repository. At the preferred time, StreamServe collects the documents and sorts them; for example, by recipient address. It will also recognize multiple documents going to the same recipient, and consolidate them into one document package. This saves material and distribution costs, as well as making it easier and more convenient for the recipient.
StreamServe automatically applies OMR codes to control mailing machines and is optimized to include pre-printed inserts. This allows for personalized content to be included together with the business content; for example, marketing collateral and messages can be inserted together with Invoices and Statements.
