Welcome to the November '07 issue of StreamFlash. We hope you will find the information interesting and useful.

Many of our current customers and partners are asking how they can take better advantage of StreamServe’s offerings in order to deliver a highly responsive and personalized customer experience for their crop of customers.

That is because for years, document output management has been viewed by the enterprise as a back-office operation.  More recently, organizations only considered document processing solutions within the larger context of major ERP or CRM system upgrades.  Yet, in today’s highly competitive environment, organizations face an ever-increasing demand for high quality customer interactions and customer care.

So how can StreamServe help you?

We will soon be launching a Correspondence Management solution that makes it possible to target specific audiences and particular circumstances. For example, in a run of customer documents, customers who meet defined characteristics may see a particular offer of service or product, while other customers would see a different offer. The mix of documents is produced on the fly with business rules governing what each individual customer document will include. The result is new business opportunities thanks to personalized, dynamic communication.

Everyone in the organization can ensure that their document contributions are accurate and current, and that revisions will take effect immediately. This means shorter time-to-market and minimizes the risk for outdated or incorrect content.

I am personally very excited about this solution and look forward to sharing more with you soon.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, comments, or feedback please send an email to: mary.hildebrandt @streamserve.com and we will respond….

StreamServe Survey Responses Indicate Persuasion is a Key Topic of Interest
Thanks to all who participated in our recent customer survey and congratulations to Glen Warapius from Sun-Maid Growers of California as the winner of a $100 American Express Gift Card for his survey participation...

The feedback was very welcome and we were very encouraged by what we heard from everyone. There is much that people like, and of course there are some suggestions for what we could do better, we will focus on what we can do better to better serve our customers.

An overwhelming number of respondents indicated they would like to hear more about how StreamServe’s Persuasion software can help to further reduce costs within the organization, while at the same time learning more about how it can be used to increase customer retention, loyalty and ultimately drive revenue.

Some of the key requirements we heard from many of you are the following:
  • Generate documents in multiple languages to satisfy key customer demographics
  • Dynamically personalize communications (TransPromo) to improve the customer experience
  • On-demand re-rendering of archived documents to improve lag time on responding to customer needs

As a result of this feedback we have developed the first in a series of on-demand webinars that will help to further explain what Persuasion is and what can it do for you. »

Spotlight on Sunmaid »
Sun-Maid Growers of California, established in 1912, is a private, cooperative owed by family farmers with national brand recognition for their raisin grapes. Based in the Great Central Valley of California, Sun-Maid family farmers grow raisin grapes within a 100 mile radius of each other. In 2000, Sun-Maid deployed StreamServe when it upgraded its ERP system to QAD's MFG/PRO for the purpose of producing a variety of internal and customer-facing documents, such as purchase orders, invoices and Bills of Lading. Glen Warapius, a database administrator and member of a 15 person IT department, has been working with StreamServe over the last 6 years. Warapius is currently working on a finished goods specification sheet which will enable Sun-Maid to access data directly from its ERP systems and automate the input of data into customized reports that will include a variety of information and images, such as bar codes labels and layout specifications of box labels. Previously, Sun-Maid employed a manual-intensive process of locating the data, inputting it into excel spreadsheets and creating the design and layout of the report.
